Job Description
Northeast Traffic Control Services, Inc. (NETCS) is growing its Plymouth, MA team is looking for a talented entry-level* Civil/Traffic Engineer*
NETCS is a Temporary Traffic, ITS, Roadway Safety Services and Construction Company that covers all of New England. We are a passionate group of professionals who serve the public (federal, state, and local governments) and private clients (Contractors, utility companies, real estate & institutional clientele) throughout the region. Together, we work to improve the safety and mobility of our roadways, work zones and in our communities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fieldwork taking measurements, pictures, marking dig-safe locations and detailing existing roadway facilities.
- Perform AutoCAD drafting of Temporary Traffic Plans and construction permits
- Create text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data.
- Review design plans for accuracy before installation
- Quantity tracking, take offs and cost estimating
- Assisting with the review and management of Shop Drawings and material orders
- Assisting construction crews with logistics
- Effectively interact with staff at all levels to advance projects in a timely and economical manner
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Real world experience with AutoCAD drafting
- Ability to independently perform multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with coworkers.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with traffic engineering principles and resources.
- Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
Qualifications:
- undergraduate civil engineering preferred
- high school graduate with engineering /CAD focus and a minimum of 1 year of drafting experience
- must currently live within 1 hour of Office Location Maximum

Construction Highway Laborer – Signing Installer – Non-Structural
is furnishing and installation of warning and regulatory signing and route markers on small, ground-mounted breakaway assemblies of “P” type posts.
Small construction / P5 / Barrier Install / Attenuator Repair

Qualifications:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends.
- Will be working mostly in Western Massachusetts / Metro Boston Areas.
- Ability to read plans.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains service operations by inspecting, diagnosing, and maintaining vehicles.
Job Duties:
- Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, replacing filters.
- Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to coworkers’ complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
- Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
